Welcome to the BreastFriends Aylesbury Web Site

Are you or anyone you know touched by breast cancer?

BreastFriends is a mutual support group, formed more than 10 years ago, for people living in the Aylesbury area.

We meet from 7pm to 9pm on the first Tuesday of every month for an informal chat and cuppa.

You are most welcome to come along.

We meet at The Mandeville School, Ellen Road, Aylesbury, HP21 8ES. Click here for location information.

We are also very fortunate in the support we get from Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust, at their Cancer Information & Education Service at the Cancer Care and Haematology Unit, in Stoke Mandeville, and The Sunrise Unit, High Wycombe.

Thanks for visiting our website. We look forward to your call or meeting you at one of our monthly meetings.

Massive thanks to Liz Carson who asked her friends to celebrate her 60th (what really?) birthday by donating to her Justgiving page on behalf of the group. She obviously has a lot of lovely and very generous friends and we will be so pleased to talk with Liz about how to make the best use of the money collected  (over £500 ). We haven’t had to go out fundraising for the group before as we have been fortunate to have various donations, but have recently had to start to think about our funding in the future. So, this has been a timely and very welcome boost for us. What is really fabulous is to read Liz’s explanation of why she asked for this as a present and how much the Group helped her at the time she needed it most; you can read it on the link :    https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/elizabeth-carson?utm_term=eQP6ngrNp
