Welcome to the BreastFriends Aylesbury Web Site
Are you or anyone you know touched by breast cancer?
BreastFriends is a mutual support group, formed more than 10 years ago, for people living in the Aylesbury area.
We meet from 7pm to 9pm on the first Tuesday of every month for an informal chat and cuppa.
You are most welcome to come along.
We meet at The Mandeville School, Ellen Road, Aylesbury, HP21 8ES. Click here for location information.
We are also very fortunate in the support we get from Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust, at their Cancer Information & Education Service @The Wooden Spoon in Stoke Mandeville, and The Sunrise Unit, High Wycombe.
Thanks for visiting our website. We look forward to your call or meeting you at one of our monthly meetings.
RELAY FOR LIFE AYLESBURY (raising funds for Cancer Research UK) took place on the fabulous weekend of Saturday and Sunday 1/2 July at RAF Halton. Fundraising went really well with a final figure of £72,273.67, of which nearly £15,000 was raised by the Breastfriends group. A lot of hard work went into this but a great deal of fun was had along the way.
RELAY 2018 will be held at RAF Halton again, on the weekend of 28/29th July. This will be a celebration of 10 years of Relay in Aylesbury so we are hoping for a great turn out. If you would like to join in next year please take a look at Relay for Life Aylesbury. You can join in with an existing team or set up your own. The Breastfriends Team has always been a great contributor to the total and we hope that will continue in 2018. More details of how to join in will be published as soon as the fundraising programme for the year gets underway. Most teams fundraise throughout the year culminating in the grand Relay weekend so if you are keen to get going please give us a call and we can help you get started.
Relay puts the FUN back into FUNdraising!
Together we can beat cancer
